How Sara Print House moved its print shop off paper
How a Sulaymaniyah print shop replaced paper job tickets and spreadsheets with a production board, design approvals and IQD/USD invoices.

The challenge
Sara Print House is a busy print shop in Sulaymaniyah doing business cards, brochures, banners and signage. Orders arrived by phone, WhatsApp and walk-in, and every job was written on a paper ticket that travelled from the front desk to the designer to the print room.
- Tickets went missing, and nobody could say quickly where a job was.
- Customers called several times a day to ask whether their design was ready.
- Prices for the same job differed depending on who wrote the quote.
- Payments came in dinars and dollars, and the month's numbers took a week to reconcile in Excel.
The solution
The shop moved to Almasware ERP with the print shop setup. Over two weeks our team brought over their customers and price list from Excel and trained the front desk, the designers and the print room at the shop.
- Every order is a job ticket with size, material, finishing and files, visible on the production board.
- Designers work from a queue and send each version to the customer, who approves it from a link on their phone.
- The pricing engine sets prices by size and quantity, so every quote is the same no matter who writes it.
- Deposits and balances are recorded in dinars or dollars, and the books update with every payment.
The results
After three months the front desk spends its time taking new orders instead of answering "is it ready yet?". The owner sees every job on one screen, and the month closes in a day.
"Now every order is on the production board and customers approve their designs from their phones."
After three months
- to close the month, down from a week
- 1 day
- lost job tickets
- 0
- from Excel to fully running
- 2 weeks
