For manufacturers

Know what each product really costs to make

Work orders build items from their bill of materials, take raw materials out of stock and add labour and overhead, so the finished goods carry their real unit cost.

Questions and answers

Does it handle work in progress?

Yes. Materials issued to a work order sit in work in progress until the finished goods are received into stock.

Can we include labour and overhead in the cost?

Yes. Labour and overhead per unit are added to the materials, so the unit cost reflects everything that went into it.

We are a small workshop. Is it too much for us?

No. Start with sales, stock and simple bills of materials, and switch on more only when you need it.
