Questions and answers

Do we need an accountant to use it?

No. The simple mode is cash boxes, expenses and statements that anyone can follow. When you are ready, your accountant switches on full double-entry and the history is already there.

Can we move over from Excel or our old system?

Yes. We import your items, customers, suppliers and opening balances, and we have moved businesses off their old systems before.

Which exchange rate does it use?

The rate you set for the day. Each document keeps the rate it was made with, and the difference when a dollar invoice is paid later is posted for you.
